Elysian is a Sesquicentennial City
Le Sueur County Historical Society presented the city with a gift pack to celebrate Minnesota's 150 years of statehood. Society President, Jim Mladek, toured the county during March, visiting 10 towns throughout the county raising awareness of the state Sesquicentennial, May 11. Watch for the official flag flying over City Hall, a sidewalk decal, history books in the library, and events around the county during 2008.
